**Must-Have:**

- Conducting and interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Knowledge of signs & symptoms of abuse
- Patient/Family Education
- Assessment, Evaluation and Discharge
- Point of Service Documentation
- Reassessments
- Experience with Young, Middle, and Older Adult Cases
**Job Description:**
- Hybrid inpatient/outpatient role focusing on oncology-based care, specifically head/neck oncology, tracheostomy care, and laryngectomy care.
- Work schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.
- No on-call duties, no floating, and no weekend shifts.
- The unit generally operates at a moderate pace with fluctuations.
- Common responsibilities include conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
- Primary duties involve cognitive, language, speech, and voice assessment and treatments.
- Required to wear wine-colored scrubs (not provided).
- Use EPIC for documentation.
- Orientation period includes approximately 80 hours, with 72 hours on the floor.
- Preferred experience with acute care, adult outpatient, CVA, laryngectomy, and various speech and language assessments.
- Experience with Passy Muir Valves, voice prostheses, and modifying diet orders is advantageous.
- Experience with the International Dysphagia Diet, myofascial release/manual therapy, and augmentative communication is preferred.
- Must be comfortable with SLP evaluation coding and understand insurances like Medicaid, Medicare A, and Medicare B.
