**Job Title:** Surgical Technician

**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 1 year
**License:** Not required for submission
**Certifications:** BLS, UAP
**Must-Have:** General, OBGYN, Orthopedics
**Job Description:**
- Perform duties in the operating room with no clinical involvement.
- Support medical staff during surgeries in two operating suites, with an average of 9 cases per day.
- Work with both adult and pediatric patients on common cases related to General, OBGYN, and Orthopedics.
- Collaborate effectively with the charge nurse, who is present on each shift.
- Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records.
- Commit to 8-hour shifts, with scheduling flexibility for self-scheduling or block scheduling.
- Be available for on-call duties during weekends and holidays as required.
- Complete a 5-shift department-specific orientation.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to the requirement for upfront time-off requests, with no additional requests approved post-submission
