Job Requirements2 full years of experience as an OR Tech.Hold an active BLS certification.Hold an active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.DaVinci Robot experience required.Travel experience preferred.Need to be flexible with schedule.
Schedule InformationStart Date: 11/18 or 12/4.Contract Length: 13 weeks.Weekend call is required.24 hr call option available, commonly 7p-7a.Weekday call required from 11p-7a.Call response time: 30 min.Schedule: 0645-1515, Monday through Friday.Orientation: 2 shifts on average.
Unit Specific Information# of suites: 8# of cases per day: Approximately 15EMR used: CernerCharge Nurse and team leads available.Does not include IV Team.RT available 24/7.Pharmacy available 24/7.No floating unless with GI experience for GI lab.
Additional DetailsIt is a union environment.Permanent staff are generally pretty friendly.Scrubs provided.Holidays: work them in where needed.
