**Job Title:** Endoscopy Technician

**Shift:** Flexible per surgical schedule, cases scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40.00
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of consistent Endoscopy experience
**License:** State Certification required
**Certifications:**
- Endo Tech Certification
- Certification in Healthcare Sterile Processing (HSPA)
**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in scope turnover, channel checks, and Pain Clinic procedures
**Job Description:**
- Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient endoscopy environment.
- Demonstrate technical skills necessary to set up endoscopy procedures.
- Perform all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Knowledgeable of sterilization guidelines and demonstrate usage in the processing of instruments.
- Handle closed transportation and decontamination of contaminated instruments.
- Responsible for sterilizing assembled instruments and maintaining sterilization logs.
- Follow basic aseptic techniques, including the delivery of sterile instruments and maintenance of a sterile field.
- Use personal protective equipment and adhere to the correct dress code for Endoscopy.
- Display transfer techniques with sharps and count surgical objects as required by policy.
- Ensure accountability and care for surgical specimens.
