What You'll Do :

Your role involves preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain clear and accurate images. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing medical conditions, while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

What You'll Do :

Resp onsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process, positioning them properly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis, adjusting settings and controls as necessary.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze ultrasound images.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records, including ultrasound findings, and update electronic health records (EHR) as needed.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols, ensuring a sterile and safe environment during all procedures.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, perform routine checks, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
- 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
- Must live 100 miles from Facility
- Covid Vaccine
- Flu Vaccine
