They understand and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures. Assure all supplies and equipment are available for the procedure and in working condition. Confirm and/or assemble sterile instruments for use correctly. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon. They assist in keeping an accurate account of drugs, sharps, and instruments. They are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the sterile field. Submission requirements: At least 5 years of experience - RequiredOpen Heart Experience - RequiredBLS (AHA) and NBSTSA -RequiredTertiary care center and/or designated level I or II trauma center expereince - RequiredTravel experience - Highly PreferredProfile HistorySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two yearsLicense/Certifications (NBSTSA BLS - AHA)Candidates' Permanent Address(Facility will not consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction)We will want the candidate to have experience in a tertiarycare center and or designated level I or II trauma center.
