**Job Title:** Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

**Shift:** Night Shift - Monday to Thursday, 9 PM to 7 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years
**License:** Radiographer license
**Certifications:**
- ARRT Radiography registration
- ARRT Computed Tomography registration
- Approved CPR or BLS certification
**Must-Have:**
- Bilingual: False
- Holiday coverage required
**Job Description:**
- Operate as a multi-modality technologist, performing CT, X-ray, Fluoro, and C-arm procedures.
- May be required to rotate weekends and be on call.
- Use Siemens Go Top CT Scanner and Konica X-ray Equipment.
- Work with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems.
- Administer x-radiation for diagnostic imaging for physician interpretation.
- Flex hours and work as needed to provide quality patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in committees, and engage in projects as requested.
- If assigned, perform additional radiographer duties including radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable exams.
- Document patient clinical history and ensure information is available for the radiologist.
- Prepare and instruct patients for procedures to ensure cooperation and minimize anxiety.
- Select and operate imaging equipment, capture devices, and accessories necessary for procedures.
- Position and immobilize patients to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient comfort.
- Practice aseptic techniques and administer contrast media as necessary; maintain intravenous access.
- Initiate basic life support actions when necessary and provide patient education.
- Provide input for supply and equipment decisions; manage inventory and supplies for the assigned area.
- Offer practical instruction for students and partners.
- Observe universal protocol, standard precautions, and correct patient identification.
- Apply principles of patient safety during all aspects of procedures, including patient assistance and transportation.
**Note:** This position will also operate with a weekend schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
