Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Door Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial door hardware installation, including hinges, door hanging, and other essential hardware. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install door hinges and other hardware components according to specifications and industry standards.
- Hang doors accurately to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
- Perform adjustments and troubleshooting on door hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns professionally.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Door Hardware Technician in commercial settings.
- Proficiency in installing door hinges, hanging doors, and other door hardware.
- Strong understanding of commercial door systems and hardware specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in door hardware installation or related field.
