- Project Planning: Anticipate challenges, manage budgets, document delays, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor your team, fostering accountability, maintaining morale, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Project Management: Adhere to plan specifications, maintain project schedules, and oversee material take-offs to ensure a successful outcome.
- Problem Solving: Manage change orders and effectively resolve issues, ensuring a clear understanding of the scope of work.
- Coordination: Attend meetings, provide regular feedback, and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct daily inspections of installations and ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a foreman role within the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and commercial electrical systems.
- Proven experience leading teams, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems, and handle change orders effectively.
- Technologically adept, with a meticulous approach to project documentation and daily inspections.
- Excellent planning, organization, and execution skills.
- Valid driver's license (required) and Electrical License (required).
- Willingness to travel frequently and work at various project sites.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and blueprint reading.
- Professionalism, accountability, and clear communication.
- Strategic planner with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and willing to accept constructive feedback.
- Skilled in operating electrical equipment and implementing safety practices.
