In this role, you’ll provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for equipment at client locations. You’ll be the face of the team, ensuring customers receive exceptional technical support and service.

What You’ll Do:
• Installation & Maintenance: Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair machinery at customer locations, following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshooting: Solve on-the-spot technical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals to ensure smooth operations for our clients.
• Customer Support: You’ll deliver professional service and clearly communicate with customers about the status of repairs and maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of your service activities, from time spent to parts used, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Training & Education: Train clients on the operation and maintenance of their equipment, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, use PPE, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Travel: Be ready to travel extensively across the US and Canada, often on short notice. Overnight stays will be a regular part of the job.
What We’re Looking For:
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a field service technician role. Experience installing, maintaining, or repairing machinery is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic skills; proficient in diagnostic tools, schematics, and repair techniques.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: You excel at diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical individuals.
• Physical Requirements: You can lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to Travel: This role requires frequent travel, often on short notice, and overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a customer-facing role where satisfaction is critical.
• Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or other relevant technical fields.
• Familiarity with industry-specific equipment such as medical devices, industrial machinery, or IT hardware.
