Searching for a Traveling Superintendent to join our growing team. Being responsible for coordinating and supervising all construction activities across various projects. Providing project coordination, project QA/ QC, safety, and management of labor, materials, and equipment. All candidates must be willing to travel and have previous experience in either civil, nuclear, and or power distribution construction projects. Must be able to work outside, with at times, harsh weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Project documentation of daily on-site activities, schedule updates, e-mail correspondence, and other activities necessary to keep all project stakeholders informed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and all subcontractors on the project to schedule and determine the activities to be accomplished during the week. Keep Project Manager informed of subcontractors’ performance.
- Conduct a preconstruction conference with subcontractors to familiarize all subcontractors with the project schedules, construction methods, company procedures and policies, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractor, vendors, inspections, material deliveries, etc.
- Verify that all testing of materials as specified is properly conducted and that testing result are properly recorded.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all corporate, local, and jurisdictional safety procedures.
- Work with Corporate Safety Manager and onsite Representatives to ensure Toolbox Talks and other safety prevention measures are taken with each new phase of project construction.
- Keep the site clean and well organized at all times.
- Direct, supervise, mentor, and guide permanent and temporary field personnel.
- Maintain all required permit and licenses are onsite. Coordinate inspections per the inspection requirements with local municipalities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma and at least 10 years of on-the-job experience in a supervisory position.
- Strong management and leadership abilities.
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Responds well to time constraints and generally works at a brisk pace.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Primary duty of role requires advanced knowledge of construction means and methods.
