** The home office is located in Charleston, SC. Qualified candidates must be willing and/or able to relocate or commute to the Charleston area. **
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling Superintendent to join our team. The home base of operations will be Charleston, SC. During Traveling weeks you will be traveling up to 4 hours away from the base. You will be provided a monthly per diem allowance while traveling. There will be no per diem allowance during non travel periods.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all tasks are executed safely and in accordance with the project plan and quality standards
- Coordinate construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects without compromising quality
- Lead and coordinate efforts of subcontractors, tradespeople, and construction teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Regularly inspect ongoing work, ensuring adherence to architectural and engineering specifications - Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all on-site personnel
- Address any on-site issues, discrepancies, or unforeseen challenges promptly and effectively
- Act as the main point of contact on-site for clients, updating them on project progress and addressing any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of construction progress, including daily reports, equipment logs, and personnel records
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as a construction superintendent or similar role in commercial construction
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Compensation:
- Full Time
- Starting Salary $60,000- $70,000 per year, Depending on Experience
