Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise on-site construction projects from start to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and timely project delivery
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources, providing regular reports to the project team and stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded
Position Essential Job Functions:
- Extensive experience in commercial construction with a focus on educational, healthcare, and multifamily projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant tools
Position Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects within budget and timeline
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel extensively to project sites, both local and out-of-state
- Good tenure with previous employers, demonstrating commitment and dedication
