- TM sales activity, including:
- Identifying prospects and making sales calls
- Accompanying Relationship Managers on prospecting and sales calls
- Closing new TM relationships
- Mining existing relationships for additional TM cross-sell opportunities
- Conduct regular touchpoints with top and key clients annually
- Provide deposit relationship support to Relationship Managers / Lenders
- Provide TM product and prospect identification training to other teams in the Bank, such as lending, loan assistants, branch staff, and others who are in a position to identify TM sales opportunities
- Maintain current, in-depth knowledge of TM products and services and bank operational issues as they relate to TM
- Grow TM fee income and deposits
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Physical requirements for this position are modest and reflective of a typical office environment.
- Occupational requirements include the ability to see, hear, and speak clearly and distinctly.
- Requirements are high for meeting deadlines, frequent interruptions, and telephone and email activity.
- Travel is moderate for regional travel to client locations; occasional travel is required throughout branch footprint; occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional public speaking may be required.
- Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Mental activity required is high for reasoning, remembering, reading, writing and speaking.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
- The TSS reports directly to the VP/ Senior Officer TM Sales.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Treasury Management, banking and bank operations
- Demonstrated record of sales success
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain daily workflows, with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem assessment and solving skills to identify solutions to client needs
- Proven strong customer service orientation and excellent customer service and communication skills
- Human relations and communication skills to interact effectively with management and other employees
- A strong aptitude toward sales, marketing, and promoting the bank
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years of bank experience is preferred
- Prior sales experience is preferred
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, management, business, or related field is preferred
- CTP designation is preferred
