About The Position:

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for daily monitoring of the Credit Union’s cash position, maintaining appropriate balances in the ATMs and ITMs, as well as coordinating orders with armored carriers. The Treasury Specialist prepares internal and external treasury reports and provides transaction processing services to other Greater Nevada companies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor the balances and make transfers as necessary between operating cash accounts and the Federal Reserve account to optimize cash utilization.
• Provide transaction processing services to the Mortgage and Commercial Lending companies.
• Maintain the cash flow forecast and report to management as needed.
• Forecast ATM and ITM cash disbursement activity to place appropriate cash orders and propose adjustments as necessary to improve cash optimization.
• Coordinate orders and shipments with armored carriers to ensure an effective cash delivery process.
• Prepare and submit the Fed 2900 report to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in the month-end close process and prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required

• 1-2 years of experience in Finance and Treasury functions with a financial institution preferred

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
• You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Location and Travel Requirements

The Treasury Specialist can be Remote within Nevada, or at one of our office locations in Reno or Carson City, Nevada.

• You must be willing and able to travel to locales other than the normal location for the position, including overnight trips as appropriate for your job responsibilities.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Compensation & Benefits

• $45,000 - $62,500 per year
• Compensation is dependent on experience
• Medical, dental, and vision plans, where we cover 90% of employee costs and about 75% of the costs for their dependents
