Truck Driver

Overview:

As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destinations. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods while maintaining a high level of safety on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

Transporting goods from distribution centers or warehouses to delivery locations

Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

Inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules

Completing logs and reports for mileage and cargo

Communicating with dispatchers and customers as needed

Operating and maintaining navigation systems, radio, and other communication devices

Managing delivery documentation and paperwork

Adhering to company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Proven experience as a truck driver

Clean driving record

Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair

Familiarity with route planning and GPS systems

Ability to lift and move heavy items

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Understanding of traffic laws and regulations

High school diploma or equivalent
