The biggest challenges of this CDL-A/-B Truck Driver role are the physical demands and driving in/dealing with the New England elements. JOB PURPOSE
Drivers drive, control, and maintain trucks equipped with dump body to transport and dump materials needed for assignments in a safe, efficient manner. Drivers will work in a fast-paced, physically-intense environment. Safety is a top priority for Drivers and must have knowledge of safe operation, rules of the road, and abide by DOT safety requirements. Drivers report directly to the Foreman.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Physical Labor at underground utility construction and maintenance projects
+ Transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or bituminous paving materials
+ Performs daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficiencies
+ Completes inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman of any issues/defects
+ When not driving, will assist crew as needed
+ Adheres to all DOT safety requirements
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
+ Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A/Class-B
+ DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
+ OSHA 10
