About the Job
Experienced, diversified truck and equipment fleet mechanic.
We are looking for a seasoned fleet mechanic that has engine troubleshooting experience. You must have all you own tools and equipment to maintain a fleet of trucks and excavating equipment for our underground utility business. This position is perfect for an individual with years of experience with various types models and brands of trucks, trailers and construction equipment. This position also includes preparing older, unused vehicles that are no longer needed and getting them ready for resale.
Job Description:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in our modern fully equipped repair shop.
- Must be proficient with electrical and diesel engine issues.
- Maintain hydraulic systems on certain pieces of equipment.
- This is a full-time position with year-round work as well as overtime if desired.
- CDL class-A Drivers license and New York State inspector license would be a big plus but not required for Obtaining this position.
