Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Trust Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. The Trust Accountant will manage a diverse portfolio of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves interacting with clients and stakeholders, preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Administer a diverse portfolio of trusts, ensuring all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, professionally addressing inquiries or concerns related to trust-related matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to create and execute trust strategies that meet client objectives.
- Prepare and review trust documents, financial statements, and reports for clients and beneficiaries.
- Conduct regular assessments of trust assets, performance, and compliance, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation, adhering to internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on changes in trust and estate laws and industry best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in business development efforts, such as networking and marketing initiatives, to expand the client base.
- Utilize trust accounting skills to manage client accounts effectively.
- Leverage skills in client communications, management, and relations to maintain strong relationships with clients.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 + bonus.
