Job Details
Our client is seeking a highly organized and Legal Secretary/Assistant to support its Trusts & Estates practice group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting an attorney with her estate planning and administration for high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling client meetings and deadlines
- Prepare estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Maintain and organize client files and legal documents
- Draft correspondence to clients, courts, and other parties
- Process client billing and assist with invoicing
- Coordinate with other departments for cross-practice matters
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in trusts and estates
- Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
- Familiarity with estate planning and administration procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Experience interacting with high-net-worth clients a plus
