GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Systems Administrator III will provide, maintain, and support Murphy USA's Data Center and computing infrastructure. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft server operating systems, VMware, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (DaaS), Linux Red hat, Active Directory Group Policy and user/group management, antivirus/antimalware administration, and the Microsoft Office Suite as well as an understanding of intermediate networking concepts. This position will place a heavy emphasis on the management of back-end systems, process automation, and advanced systems troubleshooting. Work duties will often be unscripted and require creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
As part of our team, you will identify problems, inefficiencies, and other opportunities for improvement within the environment, then communicate and collaborate with other team members to correct them. Because this position encompasses a support role, you will routinely communicate with internal customers through in-person contacts and email. Quality written and verbal communication skills will be a day-to-day necessity of the job.
1. Provide level 1 & 2 business and non-business critical support.
2. Provide 3rd-tier support.
3. Design, implement, and manage Active Directory Group Policy configuration settings and user/group permissions.
4. Provision, support, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
5. Design, implement, and manage virtualized application and desktop solutions.
6. Document all systems' changes following corporate policies.
7. Manage incident queue.
8. Perform root cause, trending, and other data analysis.
9. Create/update documentation and run scripts.
10. Perform remote access administration.
11. Project Management.
12. Server support.
13. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 8 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
