About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
- Project Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of the INTEGRATER project, ensuring that all objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met. Coordinate data management and data collaborations between CIRCLE, CATALYST, TED, and other key stakeholders, including school districts, researchers, and partner organizations.
- Data Management and Analysis: Oversee the secure storage, management, and analysis of education data from school districts, partner organizations, and Texas Tech University (TTU) grant data. Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for researchers, educators, and policymakers.
- Research and Grant Support: Facilitate the use of the INTEGRATER repository by researchers at TTU and other institutions, including the application process for data access. Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection standards, particularly concerning the anonymity of schools and districts participating in the project.
- Capacity Building and Training: Develop and deliver training workshops and materials to support school districts and educational organizations in data management, analysis, and reporting. Build the capacity of partner organizations to effectively utilize INTEGRATER’s data resources for their own decision-making and reporting needs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D in Education, Data Science, Educational Psychology, or a related field with a strong background in quantitative research methods.
- Experience in project management, particularly in educational research, data-informed practices, or data-driven initiatives.
- Familiarity with the American K-12 education system, grant tracking requirements, and the challenges faced by school districts in managing and utilizing data.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and philanthropic grant requirements and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in data management, analysis, and reporting using tools such as R, Python, SQL, or similar platforms.
- Commitment to ethical data practices and the protection of sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working with educational data repositories, data clearinghouses, or similar centralized data systems.
- Experience working with rural or under-resourced school districts and educational organizations.
- Potential for developing or evidence of a significant record of scholarship (research, publication, funding).
- Experience in survey design and analysis, especially in rural contexts.
- Experience managing large-scale, team-based projects that involve both data collection and analysis activities.

Required Qualifications
PhD in area of project specialization. Knowledge of modern research practices, the methods, resources, and standards thereof. Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities. Ability to integrate resources, policies, and information for the determination of procedures, solutions and other outcomes. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees and the public. Ability to plan and allocate the workload of employees, providing direct training and supervision as needed.
