About the Job
Assist Mill operations such as tube benders. tube mills and lasers
reports to: Plant manager
Skill:
Mechanical Skills - Knowledge of machines, tools and fabrication
ability to read calipers, micrometers, and interpit blue prints
General knowledge of safety practices and protocols
Punctual, neat and reliable
Honest and trustworthy
Good communication skills and ability to work with others
must be able to lift at least 75 Lbs.
Responsibilities:
Bring proper tools to the job daily (tape measures, steel toe boots, sfety glasses)
Ability to measure your item and verify dimensions and weight
Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications
Maintain production expectations and schedules
Attend any necessary training sessions (safety, etc.)
Comply with company policies, safety rules and procedures
Inspect work for quality
Maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
1-3 years work related experience
Steel / Aluminum industry fabrication experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Schedule:
Mon - Friday
6am - 230pm
