About the Job
-Provide Turbine Subject Matter Expertise during for Project Scope Developments.
-Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Planning, Execution, & Closeout.
-Rotating Systems Alignment – types & how-to: reverse, optical, laser.
-Steam Turbines & Valves, Generators, Rotors, Bearings, Couplings, Gearboxes – applications of, components, maintenance, repairing, overhauling.
-Pumps, Motors, Compressors, Mills, Fans – types, guidelines.
-Knowledge of – load bearing capabilities of equipment.
-Read & understand – blueprints, schematics, & technical drawings.
-Hand/Power Tools – direct workers engaged in such endeavors, safely.
-Maintains high degree of security for tools and equipment.
Interpersonal Skills – dignified & respectful communication, motivate others to improve the quality of their work, explain findings clearly and in concise written reports.
-Provides General and Direct Supervision of others, using Foremen and Craft.
-Complete understanding of working in a Safety Conscious Work Environment.
-Overall Safety and Quality for assigned Employees.
-Uses Stop Work Authority when things don’t look or feel correct.
-Reports all accidents, first aids, fires, rework, and unsafe work conditions.
-Respects, follows, and adheres to all: Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), Confined Space Permits, Burn Permits, Foreign Material Exclusion (FME).
-Oversight of all critical steps in any work plan.
Execute within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
-Ensures Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule.
-Reports – regular activity/progress reports, planning proposals & submittals, and final project reports.
Provides forecasts and projections on work scopes.
-Crew Sheets – create, develop, closeout, and maintain.
Requests for Quotations (RFQ) – develops or assists with take-offs & estimates.
-This position is responsible for managing small and/or less complex maintenance projects or managing multiple site managers overseeing multiple small and/or less complex sites/projects within the Operations & Maintenance function.
-Maintain client relationships by regular communication to better understand project operations, this communication should; appraise of Fluor activities, advise of potential improvements, assess changing needs, develop teamwork and ask for client feedback on performance.
-Manage the work to the terms of the contract by eliminating leakage and optimizing returns
