This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. FTT will require proof of status prior to employment.
Position Focuses on:
Analysis and design of rolling element bearings, magnetic bearings, hydrostatic bearings and bearing sump designs.
Develop and test oil and fuel lubrication skids for bearing and sump applications.
Coordinate with bearing suppliers to procure hardware that matches design intent.
Correlating field and prediction data.
Creating and following laboratory experiments for design verification.
Health monitoring development rig response.

Required Experience:
MS in engineering with focus on bearings and five years of related work experience, or BS in engineering with eight years of work experience related to the design and analysis of turbomachinery bearings
Knowledge and practical application of Tribology (Lubrication, friction and wear) combined with thermomechanical analysis of bearing systems
Strong ability to create and provide oral and written technical presentations both internally and externally
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Team oriented
Consistent work ethic
Experience in dealing with customers to define and document requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status
Develop standards and guidelines for tasks being performed
