Turret Driver- East Dock 2nd Shift - 1-800-Flowers Family of Brands

POSITION SUMMARY:



The Turret Driver is responsible for moving material throughout the warehouse and in narrow aisles.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONIBIILITIES:




* Put away pallets of material into very narrow aisles rack location.
* Stage pallets of materials using RF scanners to track all material movement.
* Warehouse functions may include unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
* Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance



EDUCATION


* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred



EXPERIENCE




* Previous Turret Experience preferred, or
* At least 2 years Forklift, Cherry Picker or Reach Truck experience
* Previous Warehouse experience preferred
* Able to successfully complete pre-employment screening and training class





While preforming duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand or sit for a long period of time, use hands to finger, handle control and talk to hear. The associate is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to bend and twist. The associate may be required to lift up to 50lbs frequently. All work time will be spent in a warehouse or in a vehicle transporting goods.
