Scope:
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. In this case the consultant will be working on a workflow tool which serves as a 1 stop shop for internal employees to access critical information, make purchases, inventory planning etc. Responsible for participating as a member of various SCRUM teams, contributing technical solutions to operational problems and implementing existing products and services. Documents all development activity.
This is primarily a Front-End UI Developer role with some backend/fullstack responsibility. All candidates must have advanced JavaScript experience beyond JQuery – (Angular, Node.JS, REACT).

- Must have an overall of 5-8 years' UI experience, weighted towards the high end, with 1-3 years of Angular, REACT or Node.
- Our client is leveraging a PHP Laravel backend. It would be a big plus to have PHP experience. Experience w/ a Python web framework using Django or Flask or Ruby on Rails would be also be sufficient. This experience would be helpful to code the API, however the UI experience is more important.
- Those who do not have any PHP, Python or Ruby backend experience will not be ruled out, but will be scrutinized heavy on UI-front end skills.
Skills:
- 5-8 years of UI/Front-end development experience
- Advanced JS experience to include Angular at a minimum (1-3 years); React.js HIGHLY Desired.
- Agile
- Self-starter, minimal hand-holding, take direction and run
Bonus Skills:
- Backend – PHP (Ideal) or Flask/Django (Python web framework) or Ruby
- NoSQL – Couchbase, Reddis or MongoDB.
