UI Engineer - Phaxis LLC

We are a rapidly-growing Machine Learning startup dedicated to helping pharmaceutical companies manufacture life-changing medicines!

We are looking for a UI Engineer with expertise in front-end product development. The UI Engineer should have 3+ years of experience building customer-facing products with JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interfaces for complex websites and applications
• Work closely with UX designers, web developers and other team members to deliver an overall seamless user experience
• Convert mockups into cross-browser HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates
• Work alongside web developers to implement code
• Test and document new features developed
• Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best practices
• Understand UI guidelines for relevant operating systems and appropriately adjust interfaces

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development
• Work closely with UX designers, web developers and other team members to deliver an overall seamless user experience
• Strong skills in JavaScript, preferably a modern framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Develop user interfaces for complete website and applications
• Presenting UI designs for review and approval
• Updating existing software with innovative ideas to make it more user friendly
• Continued education and research into UI development trends and current design strategy and technology
