About the Job
We are seeking a UI/UX Developer/Programmer who is well-versed in technology and can drive and enhance our modern digital workplace initiatives. This individual will play a key role in collaborating with both business and technology users to develop comprehensive solutions for ongoing projects with high visibility.
As a Software Developer, your primary responsibility will be to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences for both mobile and web platforms. Experience working with full stack application development teams would be beneficial. It is important for the developer to have an understanding of modern web technology stacks, particularly front-end programming.

responsibilities:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs standards
- Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects
- Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance
- Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
- Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements
- Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed
- Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups
- Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews
- Hands on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, Jquery etc)
- Provide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
- Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects
- Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML,Javascript and CSS
- Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements in a SDLC process
- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of frontend designs into the JS/Java codebase
- Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX
- Develop well-structured and maintainable code that follows the best practices and industry standards Work with team members to develop UI prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data-driven approach
- Design and develop UI and UX interfaces to meet standards and requiremnts
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Remain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary.
