About the Job
Training Available. We are looking for an experienced OB or MFM sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine department, part-time, 24-30 hours/week.
Ideal candidates must be ARDMS registered in OB with a passion in high-risk perinatology. Provides diagnostic studies, treatment and support to high-risk obstetric patients by performing specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers. Has full knowledge of the indications, contraindications, and hazards associated with procedures. Assures accuracy of test results, reports and equipment by having a thorough understanding of tests and techniques.

- Shifts between 8-10 hours a week, 2-3 days per week depending on FTE

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to perform variety of OB procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to work independently while functioning as a team member.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow independently.
- Ability to direct others in urgent and emergency situations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound.
- ARDMS registered in OB required.
- Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in OB sonography preferred
- Experienced in high risk OB ultrasounds a bonus
- Endovaginal scanning skills required.
- Previous experience in an outpatient medical or Perinatology Clinic strongly preferred
Pay Range:
$41.77 - $62.65
