At Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, we are dedicated to providing top-notch medical services to our community. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer who has a positive attitude and comforting personality to join our dynamic team. In this position you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by operating ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of various anatomical structures and assist physicians in making accurate diagnoses.
Variable hours to meet patient needs from 8-5:30, no nights, no weekends, and no call.
This position is Full-Time (PT available).

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques.
- Capture clear and accurate ultrasound images, ensuring proper positioning, resolution, and diagnostic quality. Analyze and interpret the images, identifying any abnormalities or potential issues.
- Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other medical staff to discuss patient cases, provide insights based on ultrasound findings, and contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor while working with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound procedure. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Accurately document patient information, ultrasound findings, and other relevant details in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Generate comprehensive reports summarizing findings and provide them to the referring physician in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasonography, attend relevant workshops and conferences, and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Education:
- Possess a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a two-year allied health degree and successful completion of on the job training in ultrasound practices.
License and Certification:
- Active Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). At least one specialty registration required. Must have RVT. Annual BLS certification required.
