About the Job
A well known Medical Center located in New York, NY has an immediate opening for a Ultrasound/Sono Tech-Generalist.
Type: Contract
Schedule: 8:45am - 4:45pm (includes a 30 min break)
Location: New York, NY
Requirements:
Must be a certified Ultrasound Technician
Must be BLS certified
ARDMS in Abdominal or vascular technology
Performs sonography services in accordance with standards established by the hospital as well as Federal, State, and Local standards.
MUST have OB experience.
Required-Graduation for an accredited school of Ultrasonography.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Registered Technologist in General sonography with at least 3 years of working experience
Communicate effectively with patients, patient family members, physicians, and other health care providers
Must be able to work independently
Experience with GE E10 and S8 ultrasound machines.
