Responsibilities:
- Ultrasound Imaging: Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety. Obtain patient history and relevant clinical information.
- Image Quality: Optimize image quality through proper technique selection and utilization of advanced imaging technology.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other team members to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely treatment planning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting procedures and findings.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
- Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (or equivalent education/experience).
- National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire OR National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Preferred:
- Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
- Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
- 1+ year of experience as a registered sonographer or registry-eligible sonographer.
Schedule:
- Full-Time: 36 hours per week.
- Shift: Variable Shift.
