Job Summary:
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform sonography procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will also maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Ultrasound procedures, ensuring quality and clarity of images.
• Guide and prepare patients, addressing any questions about the procedure.
• Verify physician orders and procedures, maintain records in RIS and PACS.
• Ensure timely handling of urgent (STAT) exams.
• Troubleshoot and maintain ultrasound equipment, following manufacturer guidelines.
• Manage ULTRASOUND-related supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
• Open/close clinic locations, handle alarms, and uphold safety protocols.
• Provide backup administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma required; BS degree preferred.
• Certification: Registered with ARRT (or equivalent) or currently enrolled in an approved Ultrasound program.
• CPR Certification: Required.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and imaging procedures.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Proficiency in English (Spanish preferred).
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
• Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between locations.
