Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to oversee and manage excavation and underground utility installation projects within the Seattle city limits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the industry, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. Our work demands a high level of competency, professionalism, and commitment, as well as the ability to navigate and overcome the numerous challenges that arise in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a crew of workers in the excavation and installation of underground utilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure precise execution of work.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, ensuring customers are consistently satisfied and loyal.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, City inspectors, and other stakeholders, navigating the complexities of each project with professionalism.
- Continuously improve and develop the skills and capabilities of crew members.
- Exhibit exceptional problem-solving abilities, handling multiple simultaneous changes and challenges, including weather conditions, crew changes, and subcontractor adjustments.
- Ensure excellence in project outcomes, mastering the inherent challenges to avoid significant negative impacts.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in excavation and underground utility installation within Seattle.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Extensive experience and competency in excavation and underground utility systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate and manage multiple simultaneous changes across various domains.
