Job Summary: To lead a global team of Account Administrators responsible for
delivering a variety of underwriting shared service tasks within
Centers of Excellence. To assist in the development and
implementation of strategic initiatives designed to develop a best
in class underwriting shared service function.

Location: Atlanta or West Hartford
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Underwriting Shared Service Lead to ensure your team provides
seamless operational support for the tasks assigned to them. - Manage and motivate team members to ensure the highest standards of quality of
work are delivered and that all work adheres to SLAs covering time and quality
standards. - Create a strong partnership between the Underwriting Shared Service Team and our
external service providers where the two teams work collaboratively to consistently
meet performance and quality targets. - Manage vendor performance and work collaboratively to resolve any queries or
performance issues in order to minimize the impact to the business and prevent
reoccurrence. - Quickly identify issues preventing adherence to SLAs and take appropriate action to
rectify. - Work with the Shared Service Quality Assurance Team to continuously review the
outputs of quality audit report and feedback from stakeholders; identify any areas of
improvement and implement actions to remediate and improve performance. - Ensure members of the team are producing the appropriate level of output, and any
performance issues are appropriately recognized, challenged and resolved. - Host re-occurring team meetings, discussing capacity issues, training requirements and
workflow status. - Own the service catalogue, service levels and metrics for the shared services
supported. - Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual metrics on team performance, controls,
workflow, capacity, platform output, etc. - Work with Operational Excellence and any key stakeholders to transition any new tasks
in to the team, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overall business
objectives. - Maintain and develop key relationships including those with underwriters, brokers and
external clients, responding to client queries in an accurate and timely fashion. - Partner with Heads of and Underwriting Ops Team Leaders for day-to-day
engagement/conflict resolution. - Ensure appropriate controls are embedded across your teams, including a robust peer
review process for high impact tasks. - Work on optimizing processes and reducing internal and external handoffs within
overall value chain. - Capacity management and planning – build a resilient team, effectively managing the
workflow and removing any key person dependencies. - Ensure SLAs are frequently reviewed, updated and communicated based on changing
business needs. - Serve as the primary point of contact for the Underwriting Shared Service Team and build
strong working relationships with key stakeholders and senior management. - Serve as a subject matter expert on process changes and system initiatives impacting
services within your center of excellence, including being a representative of Shared
Service on system user groups. - Identify opportunities to standardize/centralize/improve/automate processes, and drive
those forward to implementation to improve efficiency of service provision. - Ensure that people are effectively recruited, deployed and developed to anticipate and
meet current and future needs. - Foster a spirit of inclusion, teamwork and unity that reflects Beazley’s overall workplace
culture, values and appreciation of the benefits of diversity. - Act as a manager, mentor and coach to direct reports to enable them to fulfil their
potential ensuring continuous development of them and the wider team. - Identify skills and capability gaps within the Underwriting Shared Service Team, coordinate
training programs to ensure these are addressed appropriately to enable the team to
become SME process owners and deliver the highest quality of service. - Ensure direct reports are supported in contributing to the delivery and achievement of the
overall team and business objectives - Build and maintain personal development plans for all members of your team, ensuring
these are appropriately monitored and adhered to and discussed as part of bi-annual
appraisals.

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual’s location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $80,000- $90,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus. You will be able to discuss your salary expectations should you be contacted about this role.
