Position Overview: 

Under the supervision of the Underwriting and Operations Support Manager, the Underwriting Support Specialist works closely with the dealership to underwrite customer applications in the auto purchasing process and provides general administrative duties and support for the PLS Auto operation. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Personal commitment to providing exceptional service in every internal and external customer engagement
• Provide customer service by responding promptly and courteously to all requests for information
• Understand and effectively communicate company standards, mission, underwriting guidelines, and requirements
• Develop amicable working relationships with all team members
• Other duties as assigned by management

 Job Requirements:

• 2 years of administrative, data entry and/or underwriting experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to meet production, quality and service standards
• Must be able to work Saturdays as the schedule dictates
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following consistent underwriting process
• Ability to assess information with strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs.
