Unit Clerk, Medical Rehabilitation (West Campus) - Trinity Health System

• JOB SUMMARY
  • As an employee of Trinity Health System, it is the responsibility of this and all positions within the Hospital to support the mission and role of Trinity Health System. In addition, this position will actively support the Hospital's Strategic Plan in the areas of People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth in a team based environment. The employee also performs all job duties in compliance with laws and regulation in the observance of accrediting agency standards. The Unit Clerk assists in the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities of the patient care unit through the clerical and receptionist duties assigned to him/her by the Director/Manager/Charge Nurse. The Unit Clerk is also responsible for maintaining the safety on the department through securing patient information and assessing the physical environment.
• QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Training and Experience

    • Basic Life Support provider or obtains within three months of hire.

    • Medical terminology and typing, computer skills preferred.
