  Unit Manager

   

  Responsibilities Unit Manager:

  •  Oversee the day-to-day operations of a designated unit within the nursing home.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Monitor and evaluate resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Address resident and family concerns, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including medical records and care plans.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to promote a cohesive and effective care environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to enhance care delivery.
