Unit Secretary - Skilled Healthcare Facility

Full-time Unit Secretary opening in Peabody, MA area!

Monday through Friday Dayshift 8:30-4:30

Hourly: $19-$21

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational skills, dependability, and ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
• Covid vaccination required 

Responsibilities

• Answer phones on the unit and transfer calls to patients and staff members as needed
• Greet visitors and family members as they enter the unit
• Assist staff with answering call lights for our patients' non-medical needs (turning TV on or off, turning lights on or off, grabbing them a snack or drink, alerting a CNA or Nurse regarding a medical need, etc.)
• Printing off paperwork and faxes from the unit
