Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible – The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a dynamic, board certified, experienced sleep medicine physician to join our growing Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy & Sleep Medicine as the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Director. The Sleep Medicine program is a collaboration between the Departments of Medicine, Psychiatry, Otolaryngology, Neurology and Pediatrics. The chosen candidate will play a key role in shaping and teaching future Sleep Medicine Physicians.The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy & Sleep Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) provides clinical, research, and educational services in all aspects of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy & Sleep Medicine for patients located throughout South Carolina and the Southeastern United States. Our peers and our patients continue to rank the Department of Medicine programs among the best in the nation. The division is home to three ACGME fellowship programs and an NIH-funded T32 training grant for fellows who are interested in pursuing a career in clinical, translational, or basic research.
MUSC’s Sleep Medicine Fellowship program welcomes and trains two new fellows every year. Over the course of the last three years, the program has experienced exponential growth, reflecting the institution's commitment to excellence in sleep medicine education and research.

Job Description
We are seeking candidates with:
MD or DO with Board certification in Sleep Medicine
Minimum three years’ experience
Academic orientation, interest in teaching, and passion for outreach
Commitment to academic excellence, scholarly activity, and continuous professional development
About our opportunity:
Supervise fellows in various clinical settings, including sleep clinics, sleep laboratories, and outpatient consultations.
Leadership position that will oversee program development and training of Sleep Medicine Fellows.
Manage all aspects of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship program including recruitment, selection, evaluation, and graduation of fellows, as well as ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
