We are seeking a customer experience focused Universal Banker to join our family owned community bank. As a Universal Banker, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and tailored financial solutions to our customers. You will also play a key role in growing deposits at FIBT. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about finance, sales, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Region Retail Sales Manager and internal partners to effectively refer business across FIBT departments, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
• Deliver an extraordinary customer experience while adhering to best practices for verifying identification and preventing fraud.
• Grow and retain high-quality deposit and loan portfolios by ensuring seamless processing of transactions, maintenance requests, accounts, and loans, while maintaining compliance with technical, policy, and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with transactions, opening consumer and business accounts, completing maintenance requests, and recommending relevant products and services.
• Act as an expert in consumer and home equity lending, providing guidance to both new and existing customers.
• Maintain NMLS lender qualifications to offer real estate products to qualified customers.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor�s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Previous banking or financial services experience and experience running financial transactions is required.
• Prior consumer lending and account opening experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• NMLS certification or willingness to obtain.
