PH UPCS and NSPIRE Inspector and Pest Control Coordinator
Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a PH Inspector and Pest Control Coordinator. This person will conduct inspections and handle all things pest control for our public housing and LIHTC properties and units as well as interact with residents, MHRA operations and maintenance staff regularly to ensure decent, safe, sanitary housing for program participants. This includes but is not limited to: initial inspection of units, guidance to the resident, and serving as the main point of contact with the outside vendor.
Our ideal candidate will have five years of experience in housing, pest control, construction or housing related field. Knowledge of local, state and federal housing standards and regulations, housing health laws and ordinances required. UPCS/NSPIRE knowledge preferred. Knowledge of computer software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Sensitivity to the needs of individuals from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Ability to professionally interact with elderly, families, and persons with disabilities.
This is a full-time, 35-hour work week, position. Valid driver’s license is required.
