About the Job
We are looking for an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join the team!
Our hospital offers high-quality medicine, surgery, and service to the community. Our team treats dogs, cats, and exotic species, such as small mammals, reptiles, and birds. We care and are supported by a skilled, intelligent, and hard-working team! Our doctors are supported by individual Veterinarian Assistants,
Our diagnostic equipment includes a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Several of our veterinarians are trained to use endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery equipment, routinely performing lap spays, gastronomes, and liver biopsies. We would support any candidates interested in becoming proficient with endoscopy or laparoscopy. We would also support any candidates that have an interest in expanding their exotic skillset as we are a hospital who treats and hospitalises exotics. We are paperless and use Improved for our electronic medical records.
Requirements
- Colorado Veterinary License – active and in good standing
- Team player who supports our positive, collaborative culture and works well with a wide range of personalities
- Experience or willingness to learn emergent case management of exotics
- Experience or willingness to mentor DVM externs and new graduates
- Desire to consistently deliver amazing veterinary care and exceptional customer experience

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university Active Veterinary State License (preferred)
