Qualifications:

• Board certification
• Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the US or the District of Columbia
• Full and unrestricted license
• Current BLS and ACLS or equivalency
• Able to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
• Authorized to work in the US
• Prior VA experience preferred
• Ability to obtain privileges from the Columbia, VA Health Care System Professional Standards Board, Medical Executive Board, and Medical Center

Hours:

Monday – Friday 0800 – 1630 (8 AM – 4:30 PM)

On-call and call-back hours are rotated; routinely 1630 – 0700. (4:30 PM – 7 AM)

Job Duties:

Provide Urology Surgery Physician care as appropriate and within the scope of practice/privileging

18-20 pts. Per clinic

3-5 procedures per surgical session

Estimated 90% of time involved in direct patient care
