Junior Verification and Validation Technician
Pay : $29/hr
JOB SUMMARY:
Working with the engineers and using the available documentation, the person will be responsible for executing tests reporting all observed issues in a precise and detailed manner. Under supervision of more experienced V&V technician the person will be responsible for documenting testing procedures. The person will help maintaining the equipment and the lab in good order and up to date.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• He/she will learn the devices functionality executing using the provided documentation.
• He/she will learn the QMS SOPs and WIs according to the role/responsibility
• He/she will be responsible for correct and exhaustive documentation of verification methods.
• He/she will be responsible for reporting all the potential issues discovered in a clear, easily understandable and reproducible way.
• He/she will carefully document the results of all the performed activities informing in case of missing documentation.
• He/she will investigate issues if required.
• Based on projects’ scheduling, he/she will run verification tests reporting all issues discovered during the execution.
• Under the periodic supervision of V&V or senior V&V tech he/she will document the results of the verification; delivering the documentation in good order and ready to be processed.
• He/she will learn how to perform and will execute testing related to approval of configurations for PC based products.
• He/she will ensure all devices and equipment are in proper working order.
• He/she will help maintaining lab organized and in good order.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential competencies:
Office Word and Excel knowledge needed.
Computer usage and managing
Education, Certifications and prior work experience
include at least an Associate Degree or 3-5 years relevant V&V experience in a medical environment.
Skills and Abilities
Technical skills and abilities:
Intermediate Excel skills, intermediate Word skills, intermediate Networking skills, intermediate computer management skills. Troubleshooting capability.
Behavior skills and abilities:
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to work well in groups.
Calm under pressure.
Open to new ideas.
Detail orientated.
Valued but not required competencies:
Education, Certifications and prior work experience
EKG, Stress test and Holter scanning equipment knowledge acquired in a clinical environment.
