Qualifications:
Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.
Availability to work set school programming hours, including early dismissal days and weekends as assigned
Experience facilitating specialized curriculum to students
Experience working in school settings, after school programs, or youth recreational facilities
Experience in working with ethnic and culturally diverse communities
48+ College Units completed (60 units for any high School Position) or a passing score on the respective academic proficiency exam.
TB Test Clearance & Live Scan Clearance (Background check)
For LAUSD placed – must obtain LAUSD SSO AND complete requisite Risk Management Training (RMT)
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Current CPR Certification – adult, child, and infant
To qualify for higher levels of the Specialized Instructor position, certifications and teacher credentials are required and must be on file with Human Resources at the time of application

The individual selected for this position will report directly to the Site Coordinator at the school site where arc is present. The Specialized Instructor is a part-time, non-exempt position.
