JOB DESCRIPTION
About you -- you thrive solving problems for users on mobile and desktop applications. You delight in creating experiences that simplify user tasks with subtle animations and clear interactions that guide customers along their journey. You're self-directed but enjoy collaborating across disciplines to create the best experiences. You have a strong aptitude for determining which design asset will clarify expectations and uncover obstacles in the user's path. You create low-fidelity concepts, sketches, interactive prototypes, and final interaction designs worthy of going into production. Your design iterations not only convey the vision, they also remove confusion and successfully align ideas across teams. You're a go-getter with a can-do attitude, stellar bias-for action, and patience to do things the right way.
If you don't like using your analytical skills to inform your designs, if you tend to avoid collecting feedback about your work, and if you prefer to hibernate and never share your expertise with others; this is not the right position for you. But if you are confident about using your judgement if data is not available, comfortable exploring options that veer from the crowd, and recognize when you need heads-down time to concentrate before exposing your work for review, this could be the right position for you. Especially if you are looking for an opportunity to grow your design expertise beyond interaction design and into product and strategic decisions that will enhance the experience of our customers and our employees.
Tasks and Responsibilities
