Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project
- Understand when a project needs to be proactively driven from you versus waiting on an outside stakeholder to ask for something specific
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Work with internal business partners to ensure all project requirements and objectives are gathered, understood, and properly executed
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Manage resource availability and allocation
- Establish and cultivate relationships with internal partners as well as business stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Communicate project expectations as well as manage changes to project scope, timing or resources
- Facilitate cross functional team meetings to provide regular updates on project progress against plan to project team and business partners
- Ability to forecast resource workload as well as manage project backlog based on availability and timing
- Maintain a running log of all projects, status, launch dates, and resources involved.
- Ensure all relevant processes are followed throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Our ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years as Project Manager, with proven success in the ability to deliver results on time, within scope, and to the very highest standards. Digital agency experience or experience with a Fortune 500 company preferred.
- Experience managing software or web-based design projects is required.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking a must Demonstrated ability to gather feedback from peers and stakeholders and incorporate to improve the final product
- Candidate must be proactive, self-led and demonstrates effective time management
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- Experience with various SDLC methodologies, such as Water Fall, Lean UX, Agile and Iterative
- Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, prioritize, and solve problems with minimal supervision
- PMP/ CAPM certification is a plus.
- Strong technical background or understanding of software development and web technologies a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Project Management, related field or equivalent work experience.
