Job Description / Descripción del trabajo:

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level CDL Vacuum Truck Lead for its Knoxville 147 industrial services near Knoxville, TN. Job duties may include:

 

• Perform successful vacuum operations, removal of unwanted materials, line cleaning in various industries (process, municipalities, power generating, and nuclear)
• Routinely work with raw materials and sanitary materials, and dispose of materials safely
• Travel to various sites within the area to perform work
• Evaluate job sites for safety hazards and communicate any unsafe areas
• The ability to maneuver large equipment around city streets and rural communities

This is a full-time hourly position; scheduled days are Monday through Friday with a start time of 6:00 am. Must have the ability to travel and respond to emergent work.

 

This position is safety-sensitive. 

Requirements / Requisitos:

Basic Requirements:

• Must have a Commerical Driver's License (CDL)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid medical card 
• No more than 3 traffic violations in 3 years
• Individuals must have clean Motor vehicle report for the last 3 years
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods standing, sitting and working outside
• Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate effectively
• On-the-job training offered

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Local to Knoxville metropolitan area preferred
